I have always been guided by curiosity, creativity and a fascination with the world around me — finding expression in both architecture and painting.
Born in Romania and based in Vienna since 2018, I moved to Austria at the age of nineteen to pursue my studies in Architecture at TU Wien (Vienna University of Technology). I am currently completing my Master’s degree while working professionally in the architectural field. My connection with art and painting began in childhood. I spent five years studying painting at the Art School in Râmnicu Vâlcea, Romania, and regularly participated in drawing and painting competitions throughout my school years. These early experiences made me realise that creativity and artistic expression were not simply interests, but an essential part of who I am.
After several years devoted primarily to architecture, I gradually found my way back to painting. Today, I combine the precision and spatial thinking developed through architecture with the freedom and expressive potential of painting.
My work is characterised by a detailed and atmospheric visual language. I am particularly interested in the relationship between people, animals and nature, and in the way colour, composition and carefully developed details can create a distinct atmosphere and narrative. Rather than simply depicting a subject, I aim to create images that suggest a world of their own and invite the viewer to look beyond the canvas.
