My artwork derives out of a non-linear realm. I never know what will happen, what can happen, when I start to paint. I work without concept, without plan or pre-notion of any result. I open myself for the unkown, I surrender into silence and places beyond my mental constructs of reality.
I create out of connection. Connection is always there. Once we silence the mind, we naturally lean into it. Everybody can do that. But only few dare to. Pure Perception is a doorway. Art is a doorway. Colours are a doorway. The body is a doorway. The breath is a doorway. Those non-linear spaces in our conciousness are the realm where we heal, where magic unfolds.
My art is working for me as a tool of re-connection. It provides connection in the process of creation, as well as in the immersion into the final artwork. I hope it creates connection for you too. I releave it to its own existence. May it inspire you.
Abstract painting has been a necessity of my self expression, since the very beginning of my life. Even as a child, I vividly colored the facade of our house. (Thank you, Dad, for your appreciation.) The flow of colors and creativity once it began, never ceases.
Over time and ever changing it pours out in different currents and forms, changes direction, takes some turns, but it always comes from deep within myself. The source of inspiration is my own life's journey, and art is a way to shape it. It's a confrontation with vibrant inner worlds, intense emotions, and the essence of being human.
