I’m Maria, an artist from a small northern town in Russia, now living and painting in Vienna.
I mostly paint people. There’s so much beauty in the human face, and I want to catch it, gently. I don’t paint to make a loud statement. I just want to share the quiet beauty I saw.
I’m still becoming, and that’s the beautiful part. So for now, I just keep painting — letting the faces speak, and hoping maybe you’ll see what I saw in their eyes.
