Born in December 6th 1976 in Oradea, Romania, now I live and work in Austria.
Painting has become a serious and fulfilling part of my life in recent years. After more than two decades in the corporate world, I’ve begun to dedicate more of my energy to this creative practice — a pursuit that has brought a renewed sense of balance and purpose.
My work is deeply inspired by the seaside and the relaxed energy of holidays — sunlit beaches, soft waves, glowing skies, and warm memories. These sensations often guide my palette and mood. I primarily use oil and acrylic paints in the impasto technique, building texture and movement into the surface of the canvas or paper. Recently, I’ve also started exploring abstraction, letting color, shape, and texture lead me into new expressive directions.
I’m a self-taught artist. My creative process is intuitive and emotion-driven rather than academic or conceptual. I enjoy the freedom of working without constraints, allowing each piece to unfold naturally. Some of my paintings lean toward representation, others are more abstract — but all are grounded in a deep desire to express energy, emotion, and atmosphere.
This artistic chapter is both a continuation and a new beginning. It’s a path I’m committed to exploring with curiosity, honesty, and joy.
