Shaghayegh Chehrazi

Shaghayegh Chehrazi is a visual artist and painter born in Iran, holding a Bachelor's degree in Painting. With more than 27 years of professional experience in the visual arts, she focuses primarily on Abstract Expressionism and Action Painting. Her work explores emotion, movement, energy, and the subconscious through the expressive use of color, texture, and visual rhythm.

Alongside her painting practice, she has created adiverse body of resin artworks, including artistic panels, clocks, jewelry, and decorative objects. Her professional experience also includes the execution of murals and artistic projects in both interior and urban spaces.

In addition, she has spent many years teaching painting, guiding numerous students in the development of creativity and individual artistic expression.

Chehrazi has participated in approximately 15 national and international solo and group exhibitions. Her biography and artworks have been featured in Iran Newspaper, the Italian online publication Pars Forte Magazine, and the book 100 European Artists (published in 2026). Since 2024, she has been living and working in Austria, continuing her professional artistic practice. As part of her creative process, she combines dance and painting, transferring energy, movement, and spontaneous expression directly onto the canvas. Her works reflect lived experiences, inner emotions, and a continuous search for freedom of expression in contemporary art.
