About Thomas Driendl:
For Thomas Driendl, photography is a poetic act of seeing – a space where the boundaries between reality and imagination begin to blur. A graduate of the Prague School of Photography in Austria, he turns his gaze toward the unspectacular, the hidden within the everyday. Through the interplay of precise composition and calculated chance, he develops a distinctive visual language shaped by reduction and often strong abstraction. His works act as visual ciphers that do not simply reflect reality, but open new ways of seeing – inviting fresh interpretations and emotional responses through their subtle poetry.
