Viviene Astakhova entered Lyceum No. 190 with an artistic and aesthetic bias at the Stieglitz Academy of Arts in 2006. For four years, she studied many disciplines related to art, such as painting, drawing, fundamentals of composition, history and theory of art, coloristics and design history. Then in 2010 she entered the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering of St. Petersburg.
Viviene is currently an active figure in the creative environment. She has participated in many international and national exhibitions, her work has been published in numerous print and online publications, and she is a member of Salzburger Kunstverein and the Siberian Watercolor Art Association. Now Viviene is trying something new in academic painting: she mixes academic techniques with urbangraphics, thus she is not only looking for new ways of her creativity, but also trying to convey that art is much more than people are used to think about it.
