Aleksandra Neric

Visual Artist, Writer and Founder of Meta Lumina

Aleksandra Neric is a Serbian visual artist and writer whose work explores the psychological, spiritual, and symbolic dimensions of human existence. Working at the intersection of light, memory, identity, and the unseen, she develops a distinctive visual language that examines the relationship between the visible world and the deeper structures of human consciousness.

Her artistic practice is driven by an interest in inner transformation, existential tension, and the dualities that shape human experience. Through a conceptually grounded approach to visual expression, Aleksandra seeks to move beyond representation, creating works that function as spaces for psychological inquiry and symbolic interpretation.

Her work has been presented internationally, with exhibitions and artistic appearances in New York, Venice, Florence, Milan, Barcelona, Vienna, Salzburg, and other cultural centres across Europe and beyond. Her international presence includes a presentation in Times Square, New York. In 2025, she was a special guest at Arte Bratislava, held at Bratislava Castle.

Her artistic achievements include the Master Award Artist 2024, recognition as a winner of the Global Art Competition 2024, the Leonardo Da Vinci-7th International Prize, the Premio Speciale della Giuria–Diploma di Merito 2025, and the Popularity Oscar 2025. Her work has also been featured in Master Artist Art Book-Issue 3 (2025), while her literary contributions have appeared in Uzdarje Svete Petke, Puls Magazine, and LiteraturaOutdoors.com.

Aleksa is the founder of NOX LUMINA, an international art and literature association established in Austria, and Meta Lumina, an artistic movement through which she advances her broader vision of contemporary art, conceptual depth, and the dialogue between shadow and light.

Living and creating between Serbia and Austria, Aleksandra Neric continues to develop an independent artistic practice grounded in intellectual inquiry, symbolic complexity, and the pursuit of a personal visual language.
