Oleksandra Roche-Newton

Oleksandra Roche-Newton is a contemporary Ukrainian artist based in Austria. Her creative journey began in 2012, born from a need to translate the ideas in her head into paintings. At first, she created small paintings for friends. A new chapter began in 2015, when she moved to Austria. Painting became an important part of her life, helping her cope with the challenges of relocation—learning a new language, adapting to a new culture, also dealing with work-related stress, and overcoming fatigue.

In 2019, Oleksandra held her first exhibition in Innsbruck, Austria. At that moment, she realized that art was more than just a hobby for her. Over the following years, she actively developed her style, refined her technique, and deepened the meaning behind her work. In 2026, she decided to fully commit to her artistic path and presented her paintings to a wider audience, showcasing them at Art Expo International Graz.
