Hello 👋🏼, my name is Anaclara, and I am originally from Uruguay. My artistic journey began in the digital world, working as a user experience and interface designer. Through this practice, I developed a deep sensitivity to color—how hues interact, evoke emotion, and communicate meaning beyond words. Seeking a more intuitive and tactile form of expression, I turned to watercolor, inspired by Impressionism and its focus on light, movement, and the beauty of imperfection. This transition marked a shift away from precision and control toward spontaneity, emotion, and presence. Watercolor, with its fluid and unpredictable nature, allows me to capture impressions rather than details, moments rather than forms. My work explores floral subjects as vessels for light and feeling. Through loose gestures, transparent layers, and expressive color, I aim to create paintings that feel luminous, gentle, and alive. The process is as important to me as the outcome—each piece is a dialogue between intention and surrender. I continue to develop my practice through exploration and experimentation, while sharing and selling my work. My goal is to transmit light, emotion, and calm through my paintings, offering viewers a quiet moment of connection and reflection. "Through watercolor, I surrender to color and light, letting emotion guide the brush"
