Viveka Biondic is a multidisciplinary artist and curator currently based in Vienna, where she is completing her studies in History of Art. Her practice spans painting, photography, performance, and text, and is situated at the intersection of visual, performative, and textual forms.
Her work has been presented internationally across Europe and Mexico in institutional and independent contexts, including national museums, international art festivals, galleries, and art fairs such as Museo Estatal de Arte Popular in Oaxaca, Museo Nacional de la Pirotecnia in Tultepec, Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, Parallax Art Fair London, Skopje’s In Situ Art Fair, Galerie Das Zimmer in Salzburg, as well as at Künstlerhaus and Rathaus in Salzburg.
Her artistic and curatorial work examines emotional states, relational dynamics, and processes of transformation, often approaching exhibition-making as both a critical and collaborative practice. She has participated in several international residency programs, including Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, and continues to exhibit and curate in contemporary art contexts both locally and internationally.
