Viveka Biondic

Viveka Biondic is a multidisciplinary artist and curator currently based in Vienna, where she is completing her degree in Art History. Her practice encompasses painting, photography, performance and text, and lies at the intersection of visual, performative and textual forms.

Her work has been exhibited internationally across Europe and Mexico in both institutional and independent settings, including national museums, international art festivals, galleries and art fairs such as the Museo Estatal de Arte Popular in Oaxaca, the Museo Nacional de la Pirotecnia in Tultepec, the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, the Parallax Art Fair in London, the In Situ Art Fair in Skopje, Galerie Das Zimmer in Salzburg, as well as at the Künstlerhaus and the Rathaus in Salzburg.

Her artistic and curatorial work explores emotional states, relational dynamics and processes of transformation, often approaching the creation of exhibitions as both a critical and collaborative practice. She has taken part in several international residency programmes, including the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, and continues to exhibit and curate in contemporary art contexts both locally and internationally.
