WE - that's Thomas Leimer (founder and owner) and Polina Milikina (co-founder, curator and art expert) and we are developing since 2018 the brand "publicartists”
After three years of testing initial ideas and implementing concepts with small projects in Vienna's eighth district, such as the "Galerie Sandpeck" and the "publicartists exhibitionspace", we have finally found a location since August 29, 2022 that meets our vision with 330m2 of space and 4 meters of room height within sight of the Vienna State Opera. A place where un- and well-known artists can present their great works in a professional environment.
CITYgalleryVIENNA stands for a completely rethought art world that brings affordable art to the people without inhibitions and puts artists in the light. We put cordiality and professionalism on the same level and offer artists and art lovers an incredible variety with an average two-week change of works. A regular visit is definitely worth it!
And publicartists is even more! We offer artist profiles, websites for artists, virtual galleries and mediation between artists, galleries and art lovers worldwide!
