Romanian-born artist based in Austria since 2014, Anca Tautan brings a unique scientific perspective to the world of fine art. While studying biology at university, she discovered a profound passion for painting, recognizing a deep connection between the natural world and visual expression. To master the craft, she rigorously trained in classical drawing and oil painting across several specialized ateliers, blending traditional techniques with her innate curiosity for form and life. Since transitioning into the art world, her work has been featured in six group exhibitions, capturing the attention of contemporary art enthusiasts. Today, she continues to create from her studio in Austria, bridging the gap between scientific observation and classical artistry.
