I was born in Dresden and have lived and worked in Hamburg since 1989. Travelling around the world, I got to know the beauty of nature and its people and developed my love of painting. I learnt the art of old-masterly oil painting from Herdin Radtke. After studying at the Leonardo Art Academy in Salzburg with Prof Hannes Baier, who teaches contemporary oil painting techniques, I now have the opportunity to express my emotions through painting. I incorporate themes such as the future, the environment, nature, digitality and joie de vivre into my paintings. Philosophical ideas such as the pursuit of harmony, balance and happiness are supporting "self-revealing" elements of my colourful paintings. I like to combine two techniques. This kind of dichotomy characterises my artistic work and forms my fingerprint.
