Anže (ANŽO) Ivanuš

I am ANŽO (Anže Ivanuš), a 35-year-old multidisciplinary artist from Slovenia. I grew up on a farm, which became the source of my inspiration. Being constantly surrounded by nature, my imagination grew and developed day by day. This was particularly true in the evenings and at night, when the universe revealed its splendour. That is why my paintings often feature the universe, nature, fruit and vegetables. Along the way, I moved to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, where I also discovered city life and began to incorporate it into my art. 
I am currently living with my wife in Vienna, the capital of Austria, where I am continuing to develop my artistic style. That is why you can also find a variety of other themes in my paintings, ranging from science, philosophy, physics and history to travel and music, amongst others. 
But at the end of the day, I always say that the city gives you breadth and nature gives you depth. And that is why I am developing my own space, known as BLUEVERZE, where – just as in the real universe – everything exists in symbiosis. All my styles come together under my Blue Eye emblem, which is painted somewhere in every painting for you, the viewer, to discover. It represents the myriad styles and ideas that pass through my mind. Just as you don’t feel the same way every day, why should we always create in the same way? I always strive for authenticity, creativity and freshness! When everything comes together, I present you with surrealist paintings in vivid colours on a variety of themes to spark your imagination and make your world unique! As I was constantly surrounded by nature, my imagination grew and developed day by day. This was particularly true in the evenings and at night, when the universe revealed its splendour. For this reason, my paintings tend to feature the universe, nature, fruit and vegetables. Later on, I moved to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, where I also got to know city life and began to incorporate it into my art. I currently live with my wife in Vienna, the capital of Austria, where I am continuing to develop my artistic style. That is why my pictures also feature various other themes from the fields of science, philosophy, physics, history, travel, music and so on.
