About me and the creation of my pictures: Born in Vienna in 1947, I spent many hours drawing and painting as a child. Due to work and family I had little time for it and so I started my training in various art courses at the age of 50 until I ended up at the painting academy Roswitha Eisenbock, Stockerau, where I took a diploma course and completed 3 years of training with a diploma. Further workshops with various painters followed. Joint exhibitions in Vienna, Germany, Italy and Switzerland followed in the years after my diploma. For me, painting is emotion, relaxation, an explosion of colour and enthusiasm for new things. My work is inspired by nature, which I can wander through for hours, people, observations I make because I always go through life with my eyes open and am very curious, experiments and trying out new painting techniques, which often result in the most wonderful works.
