Breathing new life into old works of art - that is my passion, my vision. To write a new story for the present using images from the past. The aim was to create an interplay between classical and pop culture. The result is my own style, which combines existing and contemporary elements to create a completely new visual statement.

The motto: Yesterday meets today. Change in society. Sometimes melancholic, sometimes serious or dramatic - it is always interpreted with a good dose of humour. A parody, in other words.

Apart from the few, very large and well-known ones, most paintings from the old days are hardly valued today. As a result, they end up largely unnoticed in basements and flea markets. Disappear from this world. What a pity! They were created with a great deal of effort, talent and expertise, they have described and characterised eras and still deserve our appreciation. That is precisely why I am giving them new lustre. Together with active support from the world of comics, mangas and films.

Still lifes, landscape paintings, scenes or portraits. I define my painting style myself and let the figures speak for themselves. They revitalise the pictorial worlds with their wondrous characteristics and actions. Well-known characters and new creations of my own thus create their very own „fantasy world“.

I'm a huge fan of comics and series. It's a real privilege to be able to work with their protagonists, to take them out of their traditional role for a moment and beam them into completely new scenarios to give them a new „home”.

Every new story, every picture is reflected in the eye of the beholder. It merges with your own experiences and memories to create a piece of magical nostalgia.
