Born in Vienna, grammar school, wood sculpting, 33 years working as a manager in the medical book trade. Moved to Burgenland in 2001: after initially working intensively in the garden, I finally found my way to painting through a painting course, which I had wanted to learn since my youth. I have since attended several courses and since 2016 I have also organised numerous regional exhibitions. For me, the world is colourful and I want to express that in my paintings. For me, colour is an expression of my joie de vivre, as I also experience it in nature - with lots of colour nuances and perspectives. Painting is meditation for me, away from everyday life in another world. I currently paint with acrylic and pigment colours using a brush or palette knife.
