Gabriela Hajek-Renner is a trained beautician and make-up artist. She ran her own make-up school for over 25 years and specialised in artistic design and visual effects. During this time, she became world champion three times and runner-up five times in bodypainting / special effect. Today she has changed the background of her art - from skin to canvas - and devotes herself entirely to painting. She trained in mural and illusion painting in Munich and completed a five-semester course in painting at the Kunst VHS in Vienna, where she now also teaches herself. Her works combine precision craftsmanship with imaginative expressiveness and a deep love of colour.
