In my studio on the outskirts of Vienna, I create both very bold and colour-intensive and delicate and fine works, mostly acrylic on canvas or paper, which may inspire the viewer to find their own associations, to become curious and/or thoughtful.
I draw my inspiration mainly from nature, from dreams, from music and from spontaneous impulses. Initially, my paintings are non-representational, but there is always something concrete hidden in the colours, shapes and movement. They invite you to enter the world of fantasy.
Each picture is a creative process of many steps, which runs from the inside to the outside, requires energy and concentration, makes the senses wide and curious and gradually takes shape and form and ends in completion.
