Greta Lech, born in Krakow, lives and works in Vienna. In her artistic practice she moves between abstract and figurative imagery. Painting, mixed media and drawing are the central forms of expression in her work. She experiments with colours, forms and structures and sees the picture as an open process in which intuition and conscious composition meet. Her works arise from the dialogue between movement and stillness, surface and line, density and transparency. She has continuously developed her individual visual language through various artistic courses and the painting course. Numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad accompany her artistic path. She is a member of the Kunstschaffen and Lukas Gilde art associations.
