BIOGRAPHY The founder of the brand "kAtheFee" is a Viennese artist with Russian roots. She was born in 1983 in Russia and currently works and lives in Vienna, Austria. After her university degree in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication in Russia, she moves to Germany, travels a lot, lives in Spain and Cuba. Subsequently, she earned an MBA in Financial Management in Austria and finally returned to her long-time passion - sketching and photography. Her creativity and self-discovery led her to small successful art studio of Mrs. Dinara Hörtnagl (TOP 100 Young Russian Artists according to InArt version) where she took painting lessons. At the same time kAtheFee participated in intensive oil painting and anatomy sketching workshops conducted by a member of the Union of Russian Artists, an associate professor of the Department of Drawing and Painting of Saint Petersburg State University Mr. Sabit Nurimov. Her successful Contemporary Art project "Zodiacal Square" she made with a rising star of the world art stage from China Mr. Lo Si. The artworks of kAtheFee participated in International Art Fairs and were successfully exhibited in prestigious galleries in Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Some artworks were nominated for Luxembourg Art Prize 2020. The artworks of kAtheFee are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Greece, Poland and Austria and could be purchased on the recognized art platform ARTSY. ARTIST STATEMENT The history of the brand begins in 2002 in a medieval German castle in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. The brand combines the art of painting, sketching and photography, the philosophical sarcasm of the blog "3-S: Sport. Sarcasm. Sojourn by kAtheFee" as well as numerous reports from the fun "Pineapple TV" about travel and the arts. The guiding theme of all of kAtheFee's artwork is the philosophical search for balance between the rapid and ever-changing flow of modern life, and the calm and the inner contemplation of the world. Following (sur)realism, she tries to convey her life experience, experiences and urbanistic impressions through the colorful prism of personal opinion. The motto of the entire brand is "Smile. Create. Live" ("Smile. Create. Live").
