Klaus Hermann Kretschmer KREKH Born : 15 August 1960 in Vienna lives and works in Aistersheim/Upper Austria; after 35 years in the theatre, at the end at the Salzburg Festival, in the field of set and stage design, I decided in 2010 to devote myself exclusively to painting and graphic design. My artistic career has been characterised by collaboration with great artists in the performing arts and outstanding visual artists. During my work in the theatre, I designed stage sets for opera and drama, as well as multimedia concepts for events. I also created and realised design concepts for museum exhibitions. I have been involved with graphics and painting since my youth. I have been self-taught in this field self-taught. The human being, the nude, the Eros of the human being are central to my work. the landscape and its abstraction the connection between man and landscape I see myself in the tradition of Pop Art, I am inspired by works by Jeff Koons, Mark Rothko, Frank Miller or Amedeo Modigliani
