http://www.atelier-linde-pauschenwein.at Growing up in the meadows of Burgenland, my family nurtured and encouraged my love of nature, poetry, literature and classical music. As a young teacher, I discovered PAINTING and WRITING as creative pursuits alongside my profession.
I got new impulses at seminars and art courses at summer academies with prominent lecturers in Austria and on Zakynthos.
From 1972 to 1979, I taught at the "ECOLE GÜSSING" as a qualified teacher.
From 1980 onwards, I lived in Vienna and taught for several years at the HBLA „Kunst-Mode-Design Herbststraße“, 1160 Vienna. In 1984, I gave up teaching, started a family and moved to the Weinviertel region. From 1998 until my retirement, I worked as an art therapist at the Bad Pirawarth Clinic. In 2001, I reverted to my maiden name, Pauschenwein.
I have kept my dreams and curiosity about life, always looking for new creative ideas.
PAINTING LEAVES A TRAIL OF COLOUR THROUGHOUT MY LIFE!
My EXHIBITION ACTIVITIES began at the KUZ Güssing. As early as 1978/79, I was invited by Hellmut ANDICS, the director of the Burgenland Cultural Centres, to take part in my first group exhibition. From 1980 onwards, I also began exhibiting my work in Vienna, initially at Spittelberg in a small gallery, followed by invitations to exhibit in banks and other galleries.
After moving to the Weinviertel, I worked in various media, including batik and watercolour (also on Japanese paper). From 1996 onwards, I worked mainly with acrylics, having been introduced to acrylic painting at a seminar organised by the Krayem Award.
The joy of experimentation speaks from my paintings. I am fascinated by the freedom of the painting process. I sink into the creative process and project my thoughts onto the canvas, which I reproduce through the power of the colours, but I do not follow a uniform, recognisable style. Maintaining an individual style would mean stagnation for me.
I have had the opportunity to exhibit my work at numerous exhibitions both at home and abroad (LONDON, ROME 2017, New York 2019, PALMA de Mallorca 2022), ART EXPO BASEL 2023, VENICE and UDINE.
I have been represented at art fairs on several occasions by a gallery in Innsbruck: ART INNSBRUCK, ART SALZBURG, ART VIENNA 2001, 2002 My paintings are on display in public buildings and private homes both in Austria and abroad.
