Manuela Eibensteiner: Born in Waldburg near Freistadt. Lives and works in Freistadt (Upper Austria) at the ART-ME studio. Her great passion, painting, began at a young age. She was captivated by the fascination of colours and their expressive power; alongside her work as a tourism specialist, a steadily growing artistic curiosity developed. Experimenting with a wide variety of materials, playing with impressions of colour and light using glazing techniques in representational, impressionistic and, at times, fantastical depictions. Encounters with trees, stones and people influence the way these impressions are rendered in her paintings. Her thirst for knowledge led her to numerous courses and art studies with artist friends, where she was able to master a wide variety of techniques: from the „ancient craft" of reverse glass painting and hollow glass painting to working with oil, acrylic and charcoal on a wide variety of surfaces (paper, wood, cardboard, canvas, fabric, leather...) She reflects on how nature can be captured in images. Surrounded by the beautiful Mühlviertel region, she draws strength and inspiration from nature and from her love for her family and friends. Here in Freistadt, she works in her studio and welcomes numerous visitors from both home and abroad.
