Maria Campo was born in Vienna. From 1990 to 1994, she studied architecture at the Vienna School of Arts, graduating with a diploma. She also attended the Oscar Kokoschka Academy for Architecture and Painting in Salzburg from 1991 to 1994. Since 2019, Maria Campo has lived and worked in Greece, dedicating her work to abstract painting. INSPIRATION: From childhood onwards, Maria Campo has been fascinated by art, whether it be the Old Masters, contemporary art, abstract art, sculpture or architecture throughout the centuries. A lifelong passion for observing and appreciating masterpieces of all kinds led to her desire to showcase the fusion of all those impressions she has absorbed. Through her art, using diverse colour palettes and the intensity of dynamic energy, she seeks to convey the impact and emotions these elements evoke, and aims to share this experience and these feelings with the viewer.
