Maria Sulzbacher +43/664/5584308 [email protected] FB: maria.sulzbacher.14 IG: maria_sulzbacher born in the Waldviertel, lives in Vienna. I have been interested in painting for about seven years. In numerous painting seminars and workshops I found more and more pleasure in dealing with acrylic colours and the different painting techniques. I have been retired for two years now and have more time to devote myself more intensively to my artistic work and my further development as a painter. Working with different tools, materials and techniques (acrylic, collages, palette knife, paper, glue, sand, foils, iron filings, pouring technique, etc ...) in combination with colours allows many interpretations, details often only become apparent after a long time, the abstract picture never gets boring. The expressiveness, especially in the abstract, the experimentation with colours and shapes, the search for harmonious colour gradients but also for clear contrasts are wonderful journeys of discovery for me. Feeling the power of colours creates a time-out from the hamster wheel and allows timeless creation; attention is drawn to the little things. Artistic work is started without a concrete goal; by being open to new and unknown things, experimental works are created and painting becomes a pleasurable experience. With my work I want to give moments of joy, inspiration and well-being. Since 2022 various exhibitions in galleries; my paintings are in various locations in Vienna or are privately owned. born in the Waldviertel, living in Vienna.
