Born in Russia and a Viennese by choice for over 25 years, Mila combines joy and lightness with a touch of magic in her art. Her early training in art and music characterises her holistic approach to creativity, which she has rediscovered with renewed passion after years of working as a lawyer, interpreter and piano teacher. Mila loves large formats - doors, walls, but also canvases - on which colourful, vibrant worlds unfold. Her acrylic paintings are a celebration of colour, imbued with fantasy, spontaneity and joie de vivre. She also devotes herself to graphic art with just as much sensitivity: Black and white drawings with fineliner or pencil show filigree structures inspired by the Zentangle style - calm, meditative and precise.
Mila moves with ease between worlds - between music and image, clarity and intuition, structure and freedom. Her art is a silent dialogue with the soul, an invitation to mindfulness and amazement.
