Sadaf Vahedi

Sadaf Vahedi is a contemporary Iranian visual artist who lives and works in Austria. Before moving to Austria, she studied painting in Iran for approximately six years, from art school through to university, and later continued her studies in jewellery making and graphic design in Vienna. Alongside her painting, she has been working professionally for more than 10 years in the field of jewellery making, using a variety of materials.

She has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has also attended various professional art workshops. Throughout her artistic career, she has explored and examined different styles and techniques.

Her latest body of work combines surreal and symbolic elements to create personal visual narratives inspired by the imagination, inner stories and emotions; she has also created jewellery pieces based on these same works.
