The female figure and her emotional experiences are often at the centre of my work, but my paintings also include men, empty spaces, objects, silhouettes and minimalist scenes. Each of my works belongs to an inner world that exists before the painting itself is created. The painting is a moment taken from that world — a frame from a story that continues beyond what is shown. Regardless of the subject or the period in which the work is set, each piece carries its own story, atmosphere and emotional state. Through my work, I explore pain, waiting, loss, helplessness, longing, departure, silence, burden and liberation. I primarily work with acrylic on canvas, seeking to convey not only what is visible, but also what exists behind the image. Contact [email protected]
