Carolina began her painting journey in Japan in 2019, initially experimenting with calligraphy and painting on driftwood. Her style evolved significantly after her return to Germany. She now incorporates various techniques, such as intuitive painting, gold leaf techniques, and oxidation, into her work, which has been showcased in numerous exhibitions across Europe, including in Germany, Finland, in China, and even digitally in places like Paris, New York and Dubai.

One of her notable projects, the “Dragonfly Project”, created between 2022 and 2023, showcases her delicate watercolour paintings adorned with gold leaf. This series, inspired by the life cycle of dragonflies (a metaphor for our lives), serves as a backdrop for conceptual art and music concerts, blending visual and auditory experiences in collaboration with composer Raphaëlle Zaneboni. Each piece in this series embodies a season, capturing the beauty, love and fragility of life. Together they also published a bilingual art book, "Haiku & Malerei" (ISBN 978-3758329647).

In 2024, Carolina expanded her repertoire by exploring intuitive painting, a technique that encourages artistic introspection and the exploration of the irrational. Through her art, she aims to touch the souls of her viewers, offering them moments of joy, hope and inner peace. Her works not only reflect her technical skill but also her deep belief in the power of open-mindedness and tolerance as keys to a better world. Her paintings are regularly exhibited at various venues in and around Munich, as well as online on the international platform artboxy.com
