"Let us see what we have never seen before,
let us see with our thoughts"
s.j.viktor, civil name Viktor Nezhyba, born 1967 in Vienna has been successfully working as a beauty and fashion photographer for many years. Publications in Vouge, Penthouse, Getbi and many other magazines confirm his work.
For more than 10 years s.j.viktor has also dedicated himself intensively to freelance art.
An artistic photographer who does not always go with the times and is looking for his own ways.
Pictures, photos, works which have content and convey emotions, but do not show this immediately. The immersion in the very personal view leads the viewer into a mostly very colorful and sometimes abstract world.
Bad Pics, bad photos, blurred and unclear but colorful and full of life. Provocatively created images that deliberately deviate from the usual nature of a good photo.
With this series s.j.viktor lives out what should make others think, worlds of thought about what is good and less good should open.
Exhibitions in Vienna, St. Pölten and Split and Alicante, the artist shows works from his nofaces series, opened insights into his personal view.
With the last major exhibition series nofaces-emotions-badpics s.j.viktor showed a cross-section of the work of recent years. Inspired by Arnulf Rainer and Hermann Nitsch, the play with colors in connection with his photographic works is increasingly becoming a fixed component of his work.
s.j.viktor is an artist who always stages himself; on the border to arrogance, extroverted and sometimes seeming aloof.
Accessible to many thoughts. In his way also like a player, a player who gives the cards and pays attention to the reactions of his fellow players.
"I am not so arrogant to believe that my art is forever.
But it should be for the next hundred years."
